This New Kid says his best quality is his good nature. Jonathan loves going on long tours and recording in the studio. It is very important to Jonathan that his gal be independent. "It’s so important for a girl to be on her own and be able to take care of herself. I’m not always around, and it’s important for a girl to be able to do both the big and little things for herself." Jordan, whose nickname is "J," is a warm-hearted guy. Last Valentine’s Day, Jordan sent out about 200 Valentines to his fans! This is what the New Kid says about himself: I’m outgoing, I don’t get excited, I’m charming. I always look on the bright side of things. I’m also creative, loving and caring." Jordan likes going to clubs, playing basketball and reading magazines. His favorite food is lasagna and he adores chocolate milkshakes. His biggest fear is the supernatural and his bad habits are that he bites his nails and puts ketchup on everything. If you’re going to be Jordan’s gal, then you’ve got to like the beach ‘cause he loves it! Jordan likes having a brother in the group with him and dislikes getting lost from the other New Kids. Jordan says about his ideal gal: "I like a loving girl – one who likes to have fun and show her feelings."

Danny, who’s sometimes called "Woody Woodpecker," describes himself as stubborn, easygoing and determined." He takes his music career very seriously and is currently spending much of his spare time learning how to play the piano. He hopes to some day help other kids get started in the music business. Danny confesses his worst habit is that he sometimes gets defensive and his best quality is that he is a hard worker. He likes girls in bikinis, spicy food (especially Mexican) and performing on stage. He dislikes getting to a show late and finding out his jeans are dirty when he’s about to change into them! Well, if this New Kid sounds like he’s your type, let’s see if you’re his type! Danny describes his ideal girl as being "nice, cute, funny and easygoing." Says Danny, "The right girl for me is someone I can tell everything to."

Donnie, who is nicknamed "Cheese," says about himself, "I love talking and I’m always thinking. I love to be in love." Donnie loves his big family – he has eight siblings – and he loves to draw and dance. As far as food and drink go, Donnie likes water and his dad’s home cooking. He also eats junk food and likes his eggs sunny side up, but on the runny side so he can dip his toast in the yolk. When Donnie goes home, he loves to do mellow things like sleep! Donnie says his worst quality is that he’s very impatient. Donnie likes "take charge" types because he’s like that, too. He describes his ideal girl as "someone with a strong personality who likes to have fun and is very independent."

Like Donnie, Joe also comes from a large family – he’s got eight siblings, too! He says that the biggest influence in his life has been his family and friends. His pals sometimes call Joe "Joe Bird" or "Joey." His fave colors are blue and red and his drink is Classic Coke. Joe loves hearing the crowd’s reaction, hangin’ out with the guys, comedian Jay Leno and Oreo cookies! Among Joe’s list of dislikes are heavy metal, road food and not seeing his friends when he’s on the road. Joe likes petite girls who are charming and have a great sense of humor. He likes traditional dates – like going to a movie or to a restaurant – and he describes his ideal gal as being "cool, chill, smart and fine."
