PWI's Anual Awards given to Steve Austin

Some of these are unofficial and this is in no way affiliated with the WWF or Pro Wrestling Illustarated

Steve came in the first runner-up for the inspirational wrestler of the year. (Terry Funk won)

Stone Cold came in the first runner up in the feud of the year category for his battles with Bret Hart. (Winners: DDP and the Macho Man)

First runner-up yet again in the Most Popular Wrestler of the year. (Sting was the winner)

Steve Austin and Bret Hart won the title of match of the year for there amazing match at Survivor Series

Then in the most unbelievable award in the magazine Lex Luger won wrestler of the year. Is it just me or did the editors forget that Lex lost to Buff Bagwell 4 times. Anyways Steve Austin was the first runner-up.

In 1991 the PWI writers voted that Steve Austin was the 31st on he best wrestlers list.

iN 1992 HE BROKE INTO THE TOP TEN HOLDING THE #10 SPOT.

In 1993 he was 23

In 1994 he was ranked 6

In 1995 he got ripped off falling to 43 (He was competing in ECW)

In 1996 he was ranked 22 (roller coaster effect)

The last two years he has been in the 20's too.
