Killer Beavers Take Home Top Honors In Fantasy Bowl VII

In what appeared to
be a fluke of a season, the Killer Beavers silenced the critics in one
short weekend by defeating the Minneapolis Nightbreed in Fantasy Bowl
VII.
It was a tough fought battle, all the way down to the wire,
with the Beavers winning by 17 points (63-46).
Congratulations to the Beavers and all of the other teams
that made it to this year's playoffs.

Unprotected Players
For Expansion Draft

The NFL on
Friday released the list of 135 players available to be selected by the
Texans in the February 18 expansion draft.
A total of 19 players who have
been selected to 60 Pro Bowls, including the likes of Tony Boselli,
Willie Roaf, and linebackers Jessie Armstead and Bill Romanowski, were
left exposed by their respective teams.
Quarterbacks Chris Chandler and
Jeff Blake, running back Jamal Anderson, wide receivers Keenan McCardell
and Rob Moore, Lewis, cornerback Aaron Glenn, defensive end Michael
Sinclair, defensive tackles Tim Bowens and Sean Gilbert, cornerback
Aaron Glenn, linebacker Ed McDaniel, guard Randall McDaniel, centers
Bruce Matthews and Mark Stepnoski.
NFL teams who didn't make the playoffs or have been
eliminated from the playoffs submitted their lists on Tuesday.
The Texans must select 30 players excluding any restricted
free agents or spend 38 percent ($27.24 million) of the $71.7 million
salary cap for 2002. They could select as many as 42 players:
