Illumination and Wisdom
Spring: when the earth awakens from her winter sleep
Dawn: when the day awakens from the sleep of night
A time of awakening both within and without
Time to use the knowledge gained from the Spirit during sleep
Golden Eagle:
Closest to the sky spirit because of its high flight
Feathers used when sending prayers to the Great Spirit
Need to learn control of vital energy

Growth, trust, healing, and restoring energy
Coyote: The Trickster
Tricks people into learning lessons necessary for growth
Has a yellow coat (midday sun) mottled with brown (earth)
Must learn to trust feelings and intuitions
Must be firmly grounded before reaching for things spiritual

Coat the Black of Night, with Silver hairs to honor the stars
Colors: the Blues of Twilight merging into the Blacks of Night
Blue: spiritual strength,idealism, & selflessness
Black: formlessness from which all things come
Introspection
Leaders and teachers in things of the spirit and in things of the earth
Must learn to control the confusion your own power and adaptability can bring
Will promote unity or disharmony depending upon your individual honesty and strength
