• Sat Nov 21 - 8:30PM-11:30PM Thanksgiving Dance. In the basement of St.Michael's Church, 5750 N. High St. on the southern edge of Worthington. $6 admission for guests, $5 for members, includes soda and snacks. BYOAlcohol. Deejay. Call Peggy at (614)575-0518 for more information.
• Tue Dec 8 - 6PM - Birthday of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Join us for the Mass of Celebration at St. Stephen the Martyr Chruch, 4131 Clime Rd, just East of Georgesville Rd., on the Southwest side. Jeff and Kathy are our hosts. After the mass, at about 7:10PM, we'll dine at the Red Lobster Restaurant 1520 Georgesville Rd, at the first traffic light South of I-270. Please call Jeff and Kathy at (614)746-5095 so they will know to expect you!
• Tue Dec 15 - 7PM CAC Planning Meeting at MCL Cafeteria, 60 Westerville Square plaza, at the Northeast corner of SR-3 and Schrock Rd., a few blocks North of I-270 on SR-3. Come to this meeting and help us plan your winter events! Call Peggy at (614)575-0518 to let us know you are coming, for information, to make suggestions, and to volunteer to lead an event.
• Thu Dec 17 6:30PM - Fantasy of Lights at Alum Creek State Park. Join us to view the 10th annual version of this Drive-through Christmas light display. We can meet Santa and have hot cocoa and cookies, too. We'll leave from the parking lot behind the McDonald's on US-23 in Lewis Center, which is at the first traffic light North of SR-750/Powell Rd./Polaris Parkway, in front of the Kohl's store. We'll carpool from there and split the $10 per car cost. If you're going to eat at McDonald's, be sure to arrive in time to finish eating by 6:30. • Mon Dec 21 - 7PM - Merry Tuba Christmas! Enjoy this annual brass extravaganza at Mees Hall at Capital University, just down the walkway opposite Drexel Ave., on Main St. in Bexley. Meet Peggy and Maggie at the archway at the beginning of the walk at 7:10 so we'll have a chance of getting seats for the 7:30 performance. If you play a tuba, you can come for the 2:30 registration, 3:30 rehersal, and 5:30 performance as well. Call Peggy and Maggie at (614)575-0518 if you plan to attend, so they'll know to expect you!
