It has been said that the band can make music but the guard makes the music come alive. Not only do guards spin flags and weapons; we also dance making dramatic imagery of a piece of music. The music comes alive in guard. If you have been to a guard show you know what I mean. Guard is a sport in which, like we say in my guard, keeps the hospitals in bigness.
