Hello. My name is Caroline. I'm 23 years old and I live in Pleasantville, NY. I'm the girl in the A's shirt in the above picture. Right now I work in a department store doing finances and customer service.
I first got into Ted Lilly in 2001 when he was with the Yankees. I was following their bid for a fifth starter, and Ted Lilly came out of nowhere and struck out 10 Red Sox. He immediately had my respect after that perforamance. I knew then that I would follow his career throughout the years. When he was traded in 2002, I still followed the Yankees but not as much as I used to. I started to follow Oakland one game at a time and I grew very fond of them very quickly. Right now I root for both teams, but if the Yankees and Athletics face each other, I root for the A's.
I am making this site becasue I have a great deal of respect for Ted Lilly as a person and as a ballplayer. I don't think there's enough recognition out there for him, and I wanted to do my part. I hope you enjoy the site :-)
