We got this flat tire outside of Guymon,OK the morning of the tornado. We were lucky we didn't fly off the road that morning either. It is always interesting to get a flat tire when you're chasing a storm...good thing it didn't happen with a tornado behind us.

This was later in the afternoon a few hours before the tornado formed. As you can see, there's a Radio Shack in this small town. We frequented this store quite a few times on our trip. Those clouds you see forming in the distance was part of the group of storms that the tornado formed in that evening.

This was a picture of the tornado soon after we found it. It had been on the ground for about 5-10 minutes by this point. I forget the name of the road we were on at this point. We were going south at this point and it was heading south-east. We are on the west side of the storm at this point.

Just another picture from the same point as the one right above this one.

As I'm sure you can tell, this is a much closer-up shot of the tornado. In case you're not sure, it's the big white blob in the middle. I'm guessing about a mile or two away. (Yes, we did get closer) This became an F3-sized tornado (out of 5), so this was a pretty strong tornado. We are heading northeast on US 60 at this point, just outside of White Deer, TX (30 miles or so northeast of Amarillo).
