With Marcus Camby being injured as of late, Kurt Thomas has filled the void in the middle. Thomas has being playing some of the best basketball of his career reecently, but nevertheless, is not a true bigman. Expect either Camby or Thomas to be traded before the draft.
If the Knicks get in the top three draft selections the could go in two possible ways: 7'5 center Yao Ming or point-guard Jason Williams. Of course this all depends on who they can get for Thomas or Camby if and when they are dealt.
Not Mark Jackson, Charlie Ward nor Howard Eisley has been able to handle the load of carrying the Knicks succesfully. Allan Houston has been solid but not great. Sprewell has been explosive. Clarence Weatherspoon is rebounding to the best of his ability, but not scoring as much as he would like.
