Here are the some bands local to the DFW area that I like:

  • Someone Small - I used to play bass in Someone Small, a DFW local band who happens to be playing, again, at Lewisville and Flower Mound's largest local-music festival, Yuppiefest.

  • Last In Line - A supercharged punk band from LewisvilleI really enjoy Last In Line's music and the guys in the band are cool. Check them out at Yuppiefest also.

  • The Mayfaire's End - My friend Robert's kicka$$ emo band. Formerly known as Colorblind before Ryan quit the band.

    • Many of the bands I listen to for both entertainment and inspiration are the bands that I was turned on to as a child by my parents. These include lots of groups from the 60's and 70's.

  • Steve Miller Band - The Steve Miller Band is a band I was brought up on. The smooth, flowing rythyms of drummer Gordy Knudtson mixed with the laid back vocal style of Steve Miller are what make The Steve Miller Band one of my favorites. Check them out!

  • Led Zeppelin - Led Zeppelin took rock and roll to a whole new level during the 70's.

  • Jimi Hendrix - The Voodoo Child. 'Nuff said.

  • HyperRust.org - Niel Young's Website. Beside his solo career, Niel Young has also been in Buffalo Springfield and Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young.
