SSP: Hello! Can you tell us a little bit about yourself?
Jer-z: I am 14 years old, I love all kinds of music and I think it is important to be yourself.

SSP: When did you first decide you wanted to be a singer?
Jer-z: I decided I wanted to be a singer when I was about 10. I was singing for a while but I got serious when I was about that age. At that point I had to give up playing soccer to allow more time for singing.

SSP: What kind of music do like to listen to?
Jer-z: I like listening to all different kind of music from Maxwell to Yolando Adams. And I like Beyonce to Dianna Ross, or James Brown to Christina Aguilera.

SSP: Who has inspired you musically?
Jer-z: All those I mentioned in the previous answer are many of my inspirations plus others like Luther, Whitney, Maria, and lots of Motown acts.

SSP: Are you planning on doing a tour and meet-n-greets soon?
Jer-z: I may be touring this fall near back-to-school but I've realized that in this business things change day to day. Check my website for any new news.

SSP: Have you ever considered putting acting into your career?
Jer-z: As far as acting, I used to play "Emily Barnes" in the PBS TV show "Wishbone". Acting is fun and I'd love to do more of it but singing is my love. I like the reaction of the fans when I perform.

SSP: What do you like to do in your spare time?
Jer-z: In my spare time I like to read or talk on the phone with my friends.

SSP: Is there anything you would like to tell your fans who are reading this right now?
Jer-z: I'd like to tell my friends that by this time next year I'll be 15 and hopefully on all the radio stations.
