This is Laura's cousin, Brittney, doing leadline on Phyllis. Brittney was 2 years old at the time and this was the second time she had ever been on a horse! They won two leadline classes that year!

Phyllis and Laura winning the cooler for Hi-Point Youth Division. To do so, they had to earn points in english (hi-point), western (hi-point), and gaming (placed in cloverleaf barrels and polebending).
