She entered
our life one cold December day
Sent by God
to parents undeserving
Gratefully
received and lovingly nurtured.
Quickly she
grew from baby to woman.
Until too
soon she was taken away.
Cancer that
deadly disease her body took,
But
her soul belonged to a loving God
Who with a
multitude of angels
Welcomed our
darling to heavenly rest.
At last
from pain she was free.
Rejoicing in
heaven but sorrow on earth
Tears falling
like raindrops flood
How could we
know how soon her departure
When into
our home and hearts she came
Bringing sunshine
and happiness.
Thank you God
for the years she was here.
Our memories
are sweet but we long to hold her.
Husband and
child it hurt her to leave you,
Brother, nephews
and parents she left behind.
O dear God,
if only she could have stayed.
She came in
December she left in July
Linda Diane
the love of our life.
Daughter,
sister, aunt, wife, mother, friend
She filled
each role well.
She loved
life, family, friends and God.
