~NOW
I CAN HEAR ANGELS SING~
WRITTEN BY:
~JODY SEILHEIMER~
My life was
one of silence, but now
that is no
more.
Somehow we
traded places, Mom
when I entered
Heaven's door.
I hear your
teardrops falling,
In the middle
of the night,
I put my arms
around you, and
Hold you oh
so tight.
I hear your
soft voice calling,
I answer,
"Mom, I'm here.
I am standing
right beside you
Always, and
forever near.
I hear the
anguish of your heart,
I try to comfort
you.
I wish with
all my soul, that I
Could share
today with you.
I hear your
endless questions,
Especially
the "Why's", and I
Wish that
I could tell you
Instead, I
hear your cry.
I learned to
hear in your world,
Now learn
to hear in mine.
Look up at
the stars and listen,
I talk with
you all the time.
Each flower
you see bloom,
The soft breeze
upon your cheek,
Look up at
the sky and listen
For this is
how I speak.
I'll tell you
every day, in one
way or another,
How very much
I love and miss you
My dear and
precious Mother.
Now I hear
the angels sing,
I rejoice
everyday.
Now let me
hear your laughter
So I can be
on my way.
Love Your Son,

CANDLE
CEREMONY IN MEMORY OF BRAM'S
FIRST
ANNIVERSARY IN HEAVEN
Dearest Son,
We
received a letter from you pastor today. He was your pastor
since you
were 3 years old and did your services on your last day.
He was thanking
you for being such a loving and kind man-and a good friend to his family-and
you were.
Your brothers
and I had a candle ceremony for your first Heaven anniversary, and your
precious daughter, Julianna, was there. We found a rose and some other
things at your site and believe they
were from
Anna. I made Anna a memory gift of your anniversary date and thanked her
for loving you, and I know how much you loved her.
Your brother
Robbie was especially overwhelmed today-and stays extremely close to Juli-as
does your brother Hunter. I know you
must be proud
of these guys for helping with your daughter.
Well son this
is hard for Mommy-it’s almost Christmas and I still
look for gifts
for you-but most of all I look for you. You did good
son. You did
the right thing when it was time to go by protecting Julianna’s sister
Jasmine during the accident, and by giving us
your healthy,
absolutely lovely, baby girl to always cherish in
your memory.
Mommy was her coach at birth and cut her cord
in memory
of Daddy and I remember feeling so aware that you
handed her
over to us to love and protect. I am comforted by the
fact that
you had a month with her in the spirit world (maybe an eternity in your
time), and she had a chance to know the great
soul you are.
And now we have the honor of learning the great
soul she is.
And thank you for providing us with a cloak of
comfort on
your anniversary date. You are and always will be
my number
one son.
Eternally,
Mom

~A
Cracked Pot Can Water Allot of Flowers~
A
water bearer in India had two large pots, each hung on each end of a pole
which he carried across his neck. One of the pots had a crack in
it, and the other pot was perfect and always delivered a full portion of
water at the end of the long walk from the stream to the Master’s house,
the cracked pot only arrived half full.
For two full
years this went on daily, with the bearer delivering only one and a half
pots full of water in his Master’s house. Of course, the perfect
pot was proud of its accomplishments, perfect to the end for which it was
made. But the poor cracked pot was ashamed of its own imperfection,
and miserable that it was able to accomplish only half of what it had been
made to do.
After two years
of what it perceived to be a bitter failure, it spoke to the water bearer
one day by the stream. "I am ashamed of myself, and I want to apologize
to you." "Why?" asked the water bearer. "What are you ashamed
of?" "I have been able, for these past years, to deliver only half
my load because this crack in my side causes water to leak out all the
way back to your Master’s house. Because of my flaws, you do all
this work, and you don’t get full value for your efforts," the pot said.
The water bearer
felt sorry for the old cracked pot, and in his compassion he said, "As
we return to the Master’s house, I want you to notice the flowers along
the path." Indeed as they went up the hill, the old cracked pot took
notice of the sun warming the beautiful wild flowers on the side of the
path, and this cheered it some. But at the end of the trail, it still
felt bad because it had leaked out half its load, and so again it apologized
to the bearer for its failure.
The bearer
said to the pot, "Did you notice that there were flowers only on your side
of your path, but not on the other pot’s side? That’s because I have
always known your flaw, and took advantage of it. I planted flower
seeds on your side of the path, and every day while we walked back from
the stream, you’ve watered them. For two years I have been able to
pick these beautiful flowers to decorate my Master’s table. Without
you being just the way you are, he would not have this beauty to grace
his house."
