The Brooklyn College Theater Department produces 8 to 9 plays a year
plus a festival of one acts. Three to 4 plays are presented in Gershwin
Theater, a 500 seat house, and 5 plays, usually MFA directing thesis
productions, are presented in the New Workshop Theater, a 120 seat
black-box theater. Costume design students are assigned to design most
productions and work on all productions presented.
