Fishing the Ashville Bay Marina today...
No one fishing in the marina this morning.
One boat came in off the lake yesterday. I saw him pull one legal crappie in the marina.
I have heard alot complaining that the crappie fishing has been terrible this year.

"ONE OF MY BEST FISHING DAYS ON LAKE CHAUTAUQUA"
"WITHIN MINUTES WE WERE HAMMERING JACK PERCH EVERY FISH WE CAUGHT
WAS BETWEEN 3/4# AND 1 1/2# WE ENDED UP CATCHING OVER 150 JACK PERCH AND
4 WALLEYE BETWEEN 5:30 AND 12:30 THEN THE FISH WERE GONE. IF YOU WANT
TO LET THE GUYS GOING DOWN THERE KNOW WE WERE USING 1/4 OUNCE GLOW JIGS
WITH BETTER THAN AVERAGE SIZE MINNOWS, THE BIGGER FISH WE CAUGHT, WE
WERE TIPPING OUR JIGS WITH 2-3 MINNOWS AT A TIME."
