Who the hell are you?

Todd Grisham: Yea, I'm the xWo backstage interviewer, Todd Grisham. I was just informed by the owner to interview the latest wrestler he signed, Ron Downs. Do you have any idea where I might find him?

You're looking at him.

Todd Grisham: Well its a pleasure to meet you Mr. Downs. What brings you to xWo wrestling?

Well Tom I finished serving a two year sentence with twenty-six months added for unbecoming conduct. Then I spent the last three months wrestling for a low budget independent organization where I quickly captured the TnT U...(Ron pauses for a moment)

Todd Grisham: Umm excuse me are you alright? You were just saying.

Ron cuts him off. Don't you ever cut me off again.

Todd Grisham: I just though...

Well maye you should have thought less and listened more. As I was saying before I was rudely interrupted. I quickly attained the TnT United states Championship belt. After just my third match. It was there that an xWo scout recognized my in ring talent and referred me to the xWo Revenge GM. In no time at all the deal was done and here I am. But why? TnT was a monthly thing. Once a month I was working, and it wasn't a very lucrative contract. When I wasn't on the road I was sitting at home in a real city not like this trash heap of a town. (Ron Downs pauses as a chorus of boos can be heard around the arena. He waits for them to die down before he continues) Like I was saying, I was virtually unemployed and thinking to myself how am I gonna pay the bills. I would have made more money working for minimum wage at CVS than I was making. You know bills don't pay themselves Todd.

Todd Grisham: Yea tell me about it and with soaring gas prices not to mention the kids' tuituion.

(Cutting him off) Look I didn't ask for your life story. Anyway, so I was at home thinking that my talents were going to waste and when I went to work I had next to no competition. I saw an add in the paper for a gym that was opening up and when I went down to check it out I met up with a scout from xWo. He came to one of my matches and was instantly impressed. You know I grew up on the mean streets of Canarsie, Brooklyn, NEW YOOORK CITY where you always gotta watch your back. Then I spent time in the big house and you definitely had to watch your back there. You know I've always been a fan of wrestling watching it on television for years. I'm just glad that now I have the opportunity to wrestle in that same squared circle that I've seen legends compete. It truly is an honor. But it will be so much fun climbing xWo like a ladder and destroying everything in my path and leaving a trail of carnage behind me. You see Tom, this business hasn't yet seen what I can do.

Todd Grisham: Its Todd. You wouldn't like it if I called you Rob would you?

Maybe you should try it and see what happens.

Todd Grisham: In any case, as you said it is a great honor. Sometimes I wish I was a wrestler myself so I could participate. But it definitely is an experience just being here not to mention my job is much safer. Even still, how do you know you're ready to compete in an environment such as xWo? Its one thing to watch it on television but to actually compete in the squared cirlce also you weren't challenged where you were before how do you know you can compete with the superstars here and climb to the top of this business like the proverbial ladder you compared it to?

Are you questioning my abilities? Look at me, you have no idea who you're talking to. You hear the name Ron Downs, you see the mammoth of a man before you and you question whether or not I am capable of the destruction the pure carnage that I promise. Oh believe it, its coming. You see Tom, I guess I can't blame you, you have no idea, your pathetic little mind can't possibly interpret the message that I'm trying to convey to you. You know why? Because you've never seen such a destructive force in your life. You couldnt possibly comprehend what I'm telling you, but this Monday when I get my first match, you will get a taste of what I'm capable of. Tom you have to understand that I like to joke around, I like to have fun. But there's nothing funny about what I do in that ring. There's a time and a place for everything and when I step into that ring its going to be my time. I just feel sorry for other wrestlers that xWo decides to make my opponents. The guys who THINK that they can stand in my way to victory. Whoever they are they're going DOWNTOWN.

Todd Grisham: I really don't appreciate the insults. However, I don't think I or anyone else around here understands, umm downtown?

(Mocking him.) I don't appreciate the insults. (Stops mocking him.) SHUT UP! You don't appreciate the way I talk to you? That sounds like a personal problem. Maybe you should tell someone who cares. You have a job to do now grow some testicles and take it like a man. Like I said I wouldnt expect you to understand because you've never seen a dominant force like me in action. But that will change in good time. Ron Downs will be the name that strikes fear in even the deepest and darkest of hearts.

Todd Grisham: On this weeks episode of Monday night Revenge, you will debut by participating in a fifteen man battle royal. You competition will consist of: Paul Burchill, The Alpha Male, Beast, Chris Jericho, Death Threat, Cory James, Death Row, Jamal Luis, Diesel, Mick Foley, Syn Full, Triple H, Thomas Brewington, and Mariusz Pudzianowski. Since it will be your first match, you probably havent gotten a chance to get acquainted with any of these superstars especially since many of them will also make their debut that night. Any thoughts on the situation.

Its quite simple Tom. You named a bunch of wrestlers and you called them superstars. I heard the names of my first fourteen victims. You said something about me being in a battle royal. I heard that I will make my debut at the MAIN EVENT of Monday night Revenge. A wise move by the Revenge GM because he undersands that no matter who I face, the caliber of my matches will be top notch. He understands that even though its my first event, I am already worthy of MAIN EVENT status. He understands that soon, very soon I will be holding a strap over my shoulder that says that I am the champion. On Monday night Revenge, the other people in my match, the people backstage, xWo, and most importantly, the WORLD will get a taste of what I'm capable when I eliminate 14 other superstars and show the world just what I mean when I say that I'm going to take them ALL DOWNTOWN... and when all is said and done, one man will be standing tall, RON DOWNS!
