Who's Ready

To Go Downtown

The screen shows a man sitting in a metal chair backstage in the TnT dressing room. As the camera zooms in we notice that its Ron Downs. He has his head down and he seems very pensive. Suddenly he looks up. He grins then begins to speak.

Ron Downs: That was somewhat amusing. That may very well have been A Night to Remember. It may have... Nah I wouldn't go that far. The last TnT did NOT live up to its name for one reason and one reason alone. Ron Downs wasn't present. Sure we saw Corwin Havens or whatever his name is, take a fork out of his pocket and jam it into his opponent. Interesting, innovative, different, but I'll forget that by tomorrow. We saw Doc Placebo retain his world title, the tag champs, David Helms and Nic Totopolopo... whatever retain their titles and whatever else happened I already forgot. Oh yea, we saw Sabbath, my next victim beat a seven foot giant ogre of a man around the ring and some other fool who runs around calling himself scruffy. You see I feel that the owner Nic has redeemed himself. He found an appropriate name for this next Pay Per View event, Destinies Collide. (Ron smirks he then claps briefly.) You know I guess Sabbath I should give you some credit. Not everyone can manhandle a seven foot giant the way you did, most people would run in fear, crap their pants, or some combination of the two. You did neither of the two. You beat him. Only one problem, I'm not impressed. You see I've said it before and I will say it again, I can take on any member on the TnT roster, any time, any where, and ANY stipulations. Ron Downs doesn't run from a fight, he runs into it head on and full speed.

After a match like that, I would say you were destined to be something great in TnT wrestling. You were destined to take it all, to win the title, to be somebody. You WERE destined to be somebody until our Destinies collided and you were scheduled to face me. Its not too late Sabbath, you can still save yourself, ask Nic to trade your poor fortune with some other pathetic man who calls himself a wrestler. You know I feel bad Sabbath. Just because I'm sadistic, and DAMN good at what I do, doesn't mean that I don't have compassion. If I were in yor shoes I wouldn't want my second match to be against me either. Sabbath, its only your second match here, your career is still young. Walk away while you still have the ability to walk, while you still have the ability to...breathe. When you walk into that ring, more than just your career will be on the line. If you make the foolish choice of stepping in that ring with me on June 30th it could be the last step you ever take. I bet you're thinking, if you could handle that seven foot freak, Torment, I should be a cakewalk. You'd be wrong. You'd be VERY wrong. Sabath I'm going to tell it like it is, there's no way you can beat me, you stand a snowball's chance in hell of attaining victory, and believe me when I say that showing up to this match is detrimental to your health. Sabbath, for me, The Time is NOW, but for you, time is running out. Sunday, June 30th, you will be my first victim, but more importantly, I'm going to make an example out of you, I'm going to use you to give TnT wrestlers, fans, and the WORLD a TASTE of what I'm capable of. Sabbath, you will be the first to know what I mean when I tell you I'm taking you DOWNTOWN!

Ron Downs gets up and folds the chair carrying it in his hand. He walks towards the camera and pushes it. The camera man falls down and the camera has a sideways view of the doorway. The screen shows Ron Downs walking out of the door and down the hall as the screen fades to back.
