Guy Smiley: Yea, I'm TNT's newest interviewer, Guy Smiley. I was just informed by the owner to interview the latest wrestler he signed, Ron Downs. Do you have any idea where I might find him?

Ron Downs: You're looking at him.

Guy Smiley: Well its a pleasure to meet you Mr. Downs. What brings you to TNT wrestling?

Ron Downs: Well Guy I just finished serving a two year sentence with twenty-six months added for poor conduct. I was sitting at home in a real city not like this trash heap of a town and I was unemployed and thinking to myself how am I gonna pay the bills. You know bills don't pay themselves Guy.

Guy Smiley: Yea tell me about it and with soaring gas prices not to mention the kids' tuituion.

Ron Downs: Look I didn't ask for your life story. Anyway, so I was at home thinking that my talents were going to waste. I saw an add in the paper for a gym that was opening up and when I went down to check it out I met up with a scout from TNT. He booked me for a few training sessions and you know I got the job. Matter of fact I just got out of a meeting Nic Hay himself. You know I grew up on the mean streets of Canarsie, Brooklyn, NEW YOOORK CITY where you always gotta watch your back. Then I spent time in the big house and you definitely had to watch your back there. You know I've been a fan of TNT watching it on television for years. I'm just glad that now I have the opportunity to wrestle in that same squared circle that I've seen legends compete. Only thing is, this business hasn't yet seen what I can do.

Guy Smiley: Yea it is a great honor. Sometimes I wish I was a wrestler myself so I could participate. But it definitely is an experience just being here. Even still, how do you know you're ready to compete in an environment such as TNT, its one thing to watch it on television but to actually compete in the squared cirlce.

Ron Downs: (Cutting him off) Are you questioning my abilities? Look at me, you have no idea who you're talking to. You hear the name Ron Downs, you see the mammoth of a man before you and you question whether or not I am capable of the destruction the pure carnage that I promise. Oh believe it its coming. You see Guy, I guess I can't blame you, you have no idea, your pathetic little mind can't possibly interpret the message that I'm trying to convey to you. You know why? Because you've never seen such a destructive force in your life. You couldnt possibly comprehend what I'm telling you, but this month when I get my first match, you will get a taste of what I'm capable of. Guy you have to understand that I like to joke around, I like to have fun. But there's nothing funny about what I do in that ring. Guy there's a time and a place for everything and when I step into that ring its going to be my time. I just feel sorry for the wrestler that TNT decides is my opponent. The guy who THINKS that he can stand in my way to victory. Whoever he is he's going DOWNTOWN.

Guy Smiley: I really don't appreciate the insults. However, I don't think I or anyone else around here understands, umm downtown?

Ron Downs: (Mocking him.) I don't appreciate the insults. (Stops mocking him.) SHUT UP! Guy if you don't appreciate the way I talk to you, tell someone who cares. You have a job to do now grow some testicles and take it like a man. Like I said I wouldnt expect you to understand because you've never seen a dominant force like me in action. But that will change in good time. Ron Downs will be the name that strikes fear in even the deepest and darkest of hearts.

Guy Smiley: Are you targeting anyone in particular on your destructive path?

Ron Downs: Are you mocking me?

Guy Smiley: No Mr. Downs Sir. I just...

Ron Downs: (Cutting him off.) No I'm not targeting anyone. I don't care who my first opponent is. I don't care if I have to climb TNT like a damn ladder to get to the top. I just know... (He smirks) it won't be hard. I will earn the respect and fear of each and every wrestler backstage and every person who pays to see me even those people who use their fat little fingers to turn on the damn tv every month. They will all respect me when they see... Oh they will see.
