JESUS CHRIST IS CALLING FOR YOU

And the Spirit and the bride, say Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely. (Revelations 22:17). The words of the apostle Paul: "Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men . . . " (2nd Corinthians 5:11). The intense fear of God and the terribleness of His coming judgement moves to warn the unsaved that God will not with-hold His anger forever, but He will have judgment without mercy. (James 2:13). It is high time to wake out of sleep. . . (Romans 13:11) As the shipmaster called upon sleeping Jonah and said: What meanest thou, O sleeper? arise, and call upon thy God, if so be that God will think upon us, that we perish not. (Jonah 1:6) Likewise I am calling upon you to wake up and seek the face of a merciful God lest we be destroyed. Seek His face in repentance for forgiveness of sins. Don't forget my friend, Eternity is a mighty long time and you will live in eternity either in heaven with Jesus and His redeemed or you will scream and cry in the dark regions of hell below where the sun will never shine and time will never end!

The saddest thing in all the world is for a poor wretched soul (young or old) to die and meet God without hope! It would have been better for you to have never been born than to live a wasted life and lose your immortal soul in a devil's hell. Jesus ask this question: For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? (Mark 8:36-37) Think about it my friend, What if you should accomplish all that your mind can wish and then your soul be lost? The soul of man will live forever in God's eternity. Just as heaven is a place of peace and happiness and will never end for the saved, so will the regions of the dammed (hell) be a place of misery and pain for those who are lost. The smoke of their torment will ascend up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night. . . (Revelations 14:11) My friend it is high time to turn to Jesus. A great prophet of old cryed out to the people in these words: "It is time to seek the Lord, till he come and rain righteousness upon you. (Hosea 10:12) There are many reasons why sinners and backsliders should hurry and come to Jesus. . . I suppose the most important reason is that death is on your trail! The old and the young are going out to meet God every time the clock ticks. You are a little nearer the end than you were yesterday! Yes, Jesus is tenderly calling someone today. . .Won't you hear His voice and turn to Him right now. He loves and He cares!

Another reason why the unsaved should run to Jesus quickly is because God's Spirit will not always strive with man. (Genesis 6:3) God is only obligated to speak to your heart once! When God is calling this is the time to answer Him. Don't wait until the call is no longer heard, it will be too late then! Jesus said, When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut to the door, and ye begin to stand without and knock at the door saying, Lord, Lord, open to us; and he shall answer and say unto you, I know ye not whence ye are: (Luke 13:25) Jesus has set before you an open door, (opportunity) and no man can close that door. . .(Revelations 3:8) Always bear in mind that He can close the door and He will in time to come. (Matthew 25:10) I plead with you today to Seek the Lord while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near. (Isaiah 55:6) Someday you might seek Him and He will not be found! The Lord spoke of a time that those who rejected Him would call for mercy and He would not answer but would laugh at their calamity. . .(Proverbs 1:22-33). I am glad today that I can tell you that Jesus Christ saves to the uttermost. (Hebrews 7:25) Your life may seemingly be wrecked with sin and shame but Jesus is the cure. He tasted death for every man; He stands today to give you life and life more abundant. There is no habit or practice but what Jesus can give victory! From His own mouth comes these wonderful words: All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men . . . (Matthew 12:31) My God is able to sober the drunkard, deliver the dope addict, correct the wayward boy or girl . . . Yes, Jesus Christ the Saviour of the world stands ready to change your life from sin and shame into a vessel sanctified and meet for the Master's use. Praise Him! Many refuse to come to Jesus for fear of what friends or loved ones might say. Don't let man nor thing cause you to lose your soul in a dark eternity's night! Just remember that "all" must stand before the judgment seat of Christ regardless of who we are. (Romans 14:10; Revelations 20:11-15) Our worldly gain will only testify against us if we are lost. (James 5:3) Don't run from God; come to Him today and be saved.

Unsaved friend, you cannot be saved any time you decide . . . You must come while Jesus is calling (2nd Corinthians 7:10) You cannot come the way you might wish; you must come God's way! (John 14:6) You must believe on Jesus with all your heart and turn under Godly sorrow from every known sin in true repentance. (Mark 16:16, Luke 13:3) After true repentance toward God you are then commanded to be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins. (Acts 2:37-38). Tarry before Him until His Blood sanctifies (Hebrews 13:12) and His sweet Spirit comes in to take up His abode. (Acts 2:1-4) Can't you feel Him calling you now? Why not throw off the darkness and Come now to Jesus that your sins might be as white as snow. (Isaiah 1:18)
