RULES AND REGULATIONS

1. MEMBERSHIP: There will be a $20.00 annual membership fee per angler. Membership runs from April to April. You must be a member to fish the trail.
2. REGISTRATION: Registration starts at 6:00 a.m. at the boat launch site. Entry fee will be $50.00 per team, this includes the $10.00 lunker fee.
3. PAYBACK: 100%,Payback will be as follows 1st.50%,2nd 35% and 3rd 15% of the entry fees. Lunker will be based on $10.00 per team. Membership fees, and sponsor fees will be used to purchase plaques and other necessary items for the good of the trail.
4. TOURNAMENT TIMES AND REGULATIONS: Tournament times will be 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. unless weather conditions pose a threat to the welfare and safety of the tournament participants. The Tournament Director can delay, cancel or reschedule the start of any tournament. No one leaves the staging area before 7:00 a.m. Only two participants per boat, only participants are allowed in the boats. No fishing in the staging area until all boats have launched. Starting order will be determined by a blind draw ,and a trickle start will commence with boat#1 until all boats have launched. Boundaries are all waters accessible by boat without exiting the boat.
5. EQUIPMENT: All boats will have working livewells or coolers with aerators. All boats will have all Coast Guard required and approved equipment. All boats will be equipped with a working kill switch. All participants are required to wear there pfd's when traveling at more than trolling speed. Initial infraction will draw a warning ,with a repeat infraction resulting in loss of weight for that tournament. No Live Bait permitted, Artificial lures only.
6. FISHING EQUIPMENT: Only Rubber Nets are permitted. Multiple rods may be in the boat but only one rod may be used per participant at a time.
7. WEIGH IN: Weigh in will be at 3 p.m. sharp at the boat launch. Teams must be in the staging area by 3:00 p.m If you are late for the weigh in there a 1 Lbs. Penalty for each 5 minutes that you are late ,after 15 minutes you will be disqualified. You must have a weigh in slip to weigh in. 5 Bass per boat ,fish must be 12 inches long unless there are special regulations. There will be a 4 ounce penalty for each dead fish weighted . In case of a tie the tie breaker will be determined by the number of fish caught and lunker. If at any time you leave the weigh in area you are finished for the day. Catch and Release is mandatary except for a TROPHY with the Tournament Directors approval-only one fish.
8. SPORTSMANSHIP: Sportsmanship is to be practiced at all times. Unsportsmanship like conduct will not be tolerated. Remember that each teams behavior reflects on us all. No fishing within100 feet of another team.
9. POINTS SYSTEM: Points will be given at each tournament and will be accumulative throughout the year. Tournaments are worth 100 points. Points will be awarded in 1 pt decreasing increments depending on place of finish regardless of whether fish are weighted or not. Teams should remain the same throughout the year. If a team substitutes a member points will be awarded to the team. If team members both own a boat ,either boat may be used.
10.TEAM OF THE YEAR: Team of the year will be determined by the highest accumulate points after the last scheduled tournament, if there is a tie, total weight for the year will be the determining factor. Team of the year will receive a pair of fishing Jackets or a prize of there choice of equal value.
11. No Alcohol will be allowed on the boats during Tournament hours.
12. TOURNAMENT DIRECTOR: The Tournament Director will make all final decisions. Any questionable entries will be disqualified. Any discussions must be held at or after the weigh in.

FAILURE TO ADHERE TO THE RULES WILL RESULT IN DISQUALIFICATION
