« The Hospital Stay List »

This is a list of things that I bought to the hospital...It's a little long because I gathered the information from many different people...Now that I've had my surgery, I re-edited this list and let you know what I packed compared to what I actually needed...

Stuff to bring to the Hospital
  • My own Pillow - This was nice
  • Easy on and off clothes (Something very loose, nothing tight or binding) - Def. Needed, lol
  • Non-Skid Slippers (Perferrably rubber soles, remember you gotta walk, walk, walk!) - The hospital gave me some but I bought my own that I wore off and on
  • Clip-Fan (in the summer) - Didn't bring, it was Dec. Lol
  • Journal and a pen - Bought but didn't use
  • Disposable Camera - Didn't bring
  • CD Player and CD's, don't forget batteries - Def. a luxuary...It was nice switch from TV all the time!
  • Shampoo/Conditioner - Didn't bring
  • Hairbrush - You WILL get horrid BEDHEAD, but that is the style nowadays...Mine kind of looked like cool dreads, lol
  • Mouthwash/Toothbrush/Toothpaste - Bought and used my own
  • Chapstick (your lips will be very dry) - Def. used alot!
  • Glasses (No contacts!) - Def. used, I am blind! Lol
  • Face wash stuff - Nice luxuary
  • Deodorant - Bought and needed, I was funky
  • Tampons/Pads (if you're female) - I didn't bring any...
  • Large Stuffed Animal or extra pillow - I bought a puppy my friend sent to me by mail from PA (I named him Frankie)...He made my stay really comfy...You can always ask for more pillows...
  • Baby Powder - Something else I bought, made me feel less sweaty and smell better
  • Body Spray - Also to help you smell better
