Well, I just returned home from my weekend trip to Montague, NY. We did a couple of things, but mostly we relaxed. I think I took 12 hour naps at a time all weekend. We went to go see a house up in Lorraine, NY which was okay, but not fantastic. My parents are having an inspection done on the place to make sure that it would be the perfect dream house. The house has about 5 or 6 bedrooms, a living room, a dining room, a kitchen, a den and a basement. It also has a kennel on the property because the previous owners ran the place as a kennel, so we are thinking HUGE 6 bay garage, but who knows because we still have another garage we could use that is behind the house. So, that's enough of that. Then, I had Christmas up at our friends' house, the Robinsons, and we totally partied until about 3 in the morning, both Friday night and Saturday night. We watched all sorts of movies too. I saw Bad Santa (which was fucking hilarious), Elf (not so funny, but ok), Shrek 2 (ok), and the Blue Collar Comedy Tour Rides Again (really funny). Then we all exchanged gifts, had a delicious banquet, and bullshitted the rest of the time. It's so great to have Northern friends! There were massive amounts of snow. It's unfortunate that I forgot the camera because on the way up a huge Ford Expedition got stuck on routh I-81 and couldn't get out (even with 4x4!!). There was a "Lake Effect Snow WARNING" too. It was so funny watching the weatherpeople up north on television. They are all ugly people and they have speech impediments (if I spelled that right). It's worse than Canadian television! lol Then, I woke up this morning at about 9 and we got delayed on the way home in Syracuse (not even snow related, just poor drivers...probably from New Jersey!) and I had to call out for the first time since I worked in Kmart. I felt so bad. I'm sorry John!!! I know that you were working with complete morons tonight. So, now I am home relaxing and fixing up the site and enjoying Christmas gifts. Tomorrow, I have to start my research paper and get everything together for that and then I have to win a 1994 Ford Explorer on eBay for under $1000 in Scranton, PA, and then off to work! So, life doesn't slow down, even when you take a vacation. Gee, I wonder why people develop such habits as drinking...Speaking of drinking, I have to take this tangent for a moment, I thought that I'd share with you Pennsylvania's "unique" phrase for the holiday weekends. You know those crappy digital construction signs they put on the sides of the highways, warning people of something that is ahead? Well, all of them this weekend said: "Drive hammered, get nailed." My parents thought that was funny, I thought that it was a waste of electricity running those damned signs. So, to all my Pennsylvanians out there, WHAT THE HELL?!? lol Zorg, you're going to have to clue me in to Pennsylvania mentality one of these days. So, let me wrap this thing up...Well, 'til next time, "2005 - The Best Is Yet To Come!!!"
