AP Movie Review Extra Credit Option
View one of the films listed below and write a review. You should choose a movie
that is relevant to the material we are studying at the time you hand in the
review. The maximum point value for this is 25 points; your point total will be
determined by the quality of your work. You may do ONE of these per quarter.
Your review should be 3/4 to 1 page in length, a minimum of 3 paragraphs, and
should include the following:
The title, director, and the names of at least two leading actors;
Your opinion of the film and 3 reasons for that opinion;
Evaluate the historical accuracy of the film: What is the film's bias? What does
it reflect about history that is (to your knowledge) accurate? Where may have
the filmmakers stretched the story?
NOTE: R rated films must be watched with parental permission.
