The "Inspiration"

I was inspired to make this site not only because Michael Gandolfi is becoming something he is meant to be, but because he has inspired me in a very private way.

He inspired beauty.

Well, it's a long story, but if you bear with me, then read on.

I once thought of fashion as shallow, and yet shallowness that makes billion. I never thought of beauty as a virtue, because I always looked into human's mind, and I valued intelligence more than physical beauty. It was a very frustrating battle.

Sometimes I wondered if life would be easier if you can earn by your look. But we all know physical beauty is short-lived, and many times we know that there's no easier way in this world. Body over mind, beauty over intelligence, or vice versa, still we strive to become better.

Looking at Michael, I admitted silently, beauty is a virtue. If I admire brain, then why do I have to look down on beauty when it is given to different people who are meant to live different paths.

In many ways, Michael made me want to be attractive. He made me want to improve my wardrobe and enjoy life, because finally I can tell myself it's all right to want to be good looking, want to be admired, want to be young and full of life.

So, I want to do something to voice my appreciation to the man who's inspired me to have a *new* perspective, to look *outside* of my shell and enjoy beauty, because if I can't understand both ugly and beautiful faces of everything, then how can I understand life. Two sides exist together, and I always tried to shut my eyes from one of them.

If you adore Michael, support him. Vote for him on fashion and models site, request for him, send him feedback, write fashion magazines, tell the world you want to see more of him.

He said in tommy.com that he wants to be an actor, and while looking at him, I can imagine him in some roles and I can't wait to see him on film. It is like, wow, to see a man you admire for his beauty being able to explore his own potentials, so that he can extend his career and horizon, while I'm aware that it's not easy with thousands of competitors out there, I just want to say that I'll be waiting to see it, and I believe he'll be found by a good script and director. Besides, Michael loves "Fight Club". I consider him to be a kindred spirit, because those "Fight Club" fans know well what the movie talks about.

Learn more about Michael's favorite movie "Fight Club". It's one of the greatest movies and novels made for our generation, and I know those who love Fight Club is a fighter, too.
