Costa Rica

These are pictures of Costa Rica. This trip was nothing short of amazing. We started out with a 7 hour wait in the Newark airport but it wasn't too bad because I found a really good chicken wing place, gotta love Miami Subs. And we played frisbee in an empty terminal until Emil lost it behind a desk. Damn. We spent every other day traveling through the country (5 hours each trip) in the "Lowrider" with Eduardo. The hotels/shacks that we stayed at in the middle of the jungle were fun with all the scorpions, roaches, centipedes, and man-eating spiders. Bok, Emil, and Brandon had quite the scare when they saw glowing green eyes in the middle of the night. Turned out to be a cow...When we weren't up at 3 am spraying bugs with DEET, there were plenty of other things to keep us busy. Some of these activities include diving into 3 ft deep pools, retard surfing during riptide, and Dave and I becoming Cuban Cowboys. There were some rules set down and I learned a great lesson in self-control. Actually, I knew that if I pestered the wildlife Ms. Hickman would sacrifice me to the Arenal Volcano. You may also notice picture of someone wearing a pillow case on his head and a bed sheet. We thought it would be fun to dress up one of our friends as a terrorist and parade him through the airport. In retrospect, it's probably a good thing he never left his hotel room dressed like that.
Six hours in an airport can really warp your mind...
