CINNAMON ORNAMENTS
can also be used as package toppers. If making ahead put each in a plastic bag and store in a cool dry place.
4 ounces of ground cinnamon
1 tablespoon ground cloves
1 tablespoon ground nutmeg
3/4 cup of applesauce
2 tablespoons of white craft glue
DO NOT EAT! because of the glue. Mix together well, roll out and cut your shapes. Poke a hole at the top of each one for hanging before they dry. Put them on a wire rack for about a week and let them dry, turning them over about once a day.

CHRISTMAS CINNAMON ORNAMENTS
3/4 cup applesauce
1 4.12 ounce bottle ground cinnamon
Mix together to form a stiff dough. Roll dough to 1/4 inch thickness. Cut with cookie cutters. Make hole at top of ornaments on rack to dry. Let dry 1-2 days or until thoroughly dry, turning occasionally. Hang with decorative thread,ribbon or natural raffia. Makes 12-15 ornaments.

TABLE DECOR
Cinnamon sticks, 4-5 inches long
natural raffia
dried flowers of your choice
hot glue
To make a centerpiece glue together two cinnamon sticks, then top with two more, gluing the four of them together. Glue dried flowers to the top of the sticks to decorate, but not overwhelm. Tie a few pieces of raffia around the middle of the sticks and flowers to form a bow with a few ends hanging slightly off the piece.

CINNAMON STICK CANDLE HOLDER
1 clear glass votive candle holder
about 20 cinnamon sticks
hot glue gun, glue sticks Measure the height of your holder, and add 1/2 inch. This is the length you will need to cut your cinnamon sticks. Cover the holder completely with scotch tape. Hot glue does not adhere well to glass, so this will give a good surface to glue to. Glue each stick vertically to the holder, making sure they are placed evenly, until surface is covered. Can decorate with raffia, or other small holiday decorations.

HOLIDAY POTPOURRI
1 cup bay leaves, crumbled
4 fresh (or dried) rosemary sprigs
6 three inch cinnamon sticks
6 cloves
Rind of One Orange
Place all the ingredients in a saucepan with 4 cups water and bring to a boil. Turn down heat and allow to simmer. Add water as needed to prevent potpourri from boiling dry.

CHRISTMAS POTPOURRI
3 cinnamon sticks
3 bay leaves
1/4 c. whole cloves
1/2 lemon, halved
1/2 orange, halved
1 qt. water
Combine all ingredients in saucepan and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer as long as desired (may use crock pot). Check often and add additional water if needed. Mixture may be stored in refrigerator several days and reused.

FIREPLACE SMUDGE STICKS
Whole Rosemary branches or other herb branches, anything your herb garden has remaining from the season
1/4 cup Oakmoss
3 - 4 Cinnamon sticks whole
2 tbsp Patchouli leaves
1/4 cup Orange peel
2 tsp Benzoin powder
8x11 inch piece of Parchment or Rice paper
20 - 30 drops essential oils
Mix essential oils with Benzoin powder. Mix all ingredients together. Lay all material on paper in a row and roll tightly, twisting paper at the ends and securing with butchers cord or ribbon. Items are laid out on paper. Mixture of essential oils and benzoin powder are added. Roll and tighten paper. Now give the roll a slight twist. And tie ends and middle with ribbon to keep it all together. Your Smudge Stick is ready for the fireplace. Place in fireplace with logs and allow to burn with logs.

CHRISTMAS CAKE RECIPE
You'll need the following:
1 cup of water
1 cup of sugar
4 large brown eggs
2 cups of dried fruit
1 teaspoon of salt
1 cup of brown sugar
Lemon juice
Nuts
1 bottle of whisky
Sample the whisky to check for quality. Take a large bowl. Check the whisky again. To be sure it's the highest quality, pour one level cup and drink. Repeat. Turn on the electric mixer, beat one cup of butter in a large fluffy bowl. Add one teaspoon of sugar and beat again. Make sure the whisky is still OK. Cry another tup. Tune up the mixer. Beat two leggs and add to the bowl and chuck in the cup of dried fruit. Mix on the turner. If the fired druit gets stuck in the beaterers, pry it goose with a drewscriver. Sample the whisky to check for tonsisticity. Next, sift two cups of salt. Or something. Who cares? Check the whisky. Now sift the lemon juice and strain your nuts. Add one table. Spoon the sugar or something. Whatever you can find. Grease the oven. Turn the cake tin to 350 degrees. Don't forget to beat off the turner. Throw the bowl out of the window. Check the whisky again and go to bed.

BEST FRUITCAKE
1 or 2 quarts Whiskey
1 cup butter
1 cup sugar
1 tsp. salt
4 large eggs
1 cup dried fruit
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup of nuts
1 oz of lemon juice
Before you start, sample the whiskey to check for quality. Good, isn't it? Now go ahead. Select a large mising bowl, measuring cup, etc. Check the whiskey again as it must be just right. To be sure whiskey is of the highest quality, pour one level cup into a glass and drink it as fast as you can. Repeat.
With an electric mixer, beat 1 cup of butter in a large fluffy bowl. Add 1 tsp. of thugar and beat again. Meanwhile, make sure that the siskey is of the finest quality. Cry another cup.
Open the second quart is necessary. Add the 2 arge eggs, 2 cups dried fruit and beat till high. If druit gest stuck in the beaters, juse pry it loose with a drewscriver. Sample the whiskey again, checking for toxscisticity.
Next sift 3 cups of the salt or anything: it really doesn't matter. Sample the whiskey. Sift 1/2 pint lemon juice.
Fold in chopped butter and strained nuts. Add one babblespoon of the brown thugar, or whatever color you can find and wix mel.
Grease oven and turn cake to 350 degrees. Now pour the whole mess into the coven and bake. Check whiskey again, and go to bed.

CHRISTMAS COOKIE
1 cup of water
1 tsp baking soda
1 cup of sugar
1 tsp salt
1 cup of brown sugar
lemon juice
4 large eggs
1 cup nuts
2 cups of dried fruit
1 bottle Jose Cuervo Tequila
Sample the Cuervo to check quality. Take a large bowl, check the Cuervo again, to be sure it is of the highest quality, pour one level cup and drink. Turn on the electric mixer...Beat one cup of butter in a large fluffy bowl. Add one teaspoon of sugar...Beat again.
At this point it's best to make sure the Cuervo is still OK, try another cup ... just in case. Turn off the mixerer thingy. Break 2 leggs and add to the bowl and chuck in the cup of dried fruit.
Pick the frigging fruit off floor... Mix on the turner. If the fried druit gets stuck in the beaterers just pry it loose with a drewscriver. Sample the Cuervo to check for tonsisticity. Next, sift two cups of salt, or something. Who giveshz a sheet. Check the Jose Cuervo.
Now shift the lemon juice and strain your nuts. Add one table. Add a spoon of sugar, or somefink. Whatever you can find. Greash the oven.
Turn the cake tin 360 degrees and try not to fall over.
Don't forget to beat off the turner.
Finally, throw the bowl through the window, finish the Cose Juervo and make sure to put the stove in the dishwasher.
CHERRY MISTMAS

MAGIC REINDEER FOOD
Mix together oatmeal and glitter. Put some of the mixture in an empty small plastic bag. On a heavy piece of paper, like construction paper, about a 2 x 4 1/2-inches rectangle, print the following instructions.
MAGIC REINDEER FOOD
On Christmas Eve,
sprinkle the Magic Reindeer Food on your Lawn--
The Magic Glitter sparkling in the Moonlight
and the smell of the Oats
will guide Rudolph to Your House.

Fold the paper rectangle in half and staple to the top of the plastic sleeve (bag) in such a way that the reindeer food will not spill.
