The Kingston Kiwanis Club participates in a number of very
exciting events and fundraisers each year. Some are:
The Kiwanis KAPERS
Annual Auction
Awarding $15,000+ in scholarships to local graduates continuing their education
Provide dictionaries to all 3rd grade students, public and private in the city of Kingston.
Participate in a reading and tutoring program at a locat elementary school
Provide volunteers to work with Habitat for Humanity
Host the children from Brookside School for a holiday party and gifts
“Ringing the Bell” for the Salvation Army
Sponsor several youths to summer camps
Participating in the Annual Boy Scout Food Drive
Holding a leadership program called the HOBY-CLEW for high school students
Sponsoring a Babe Ruth Team
Sponsoring a Key Club at Kingston High and Builders Club at J. Watson Bailey Middle School
Participating with the Ulster Club in sponsoring an annual Senior Citizens Holiday Dinner
Assist in the annual Jr. Diabetes Walk
Assist in the NY State Sepcial Olympics
Offering financial assistance to several needy non-profit organizations
