"...the funniest, most entertaining and most eccentrically imaginative musical in New York." -NY Post

John Kaufmann's Two Girls From Vermont is a wild pop fable adapted from Shakespeare's "Two Gentlemen of Verona". This time around, the protagonists are two spunky teen-age girls who must face a domineering Duchess in drag, a devious enemy cheerleader, disapproving fathers secretly enamored, and dangerous dancing Canadian outlaws: all inspired by true love. This farcical production features hip-hop dancing and a plethora of punchy pop songs as it depicts the adventures of winning the boy band star of your dreams!

TWO GIRLS IN THE RECORDING STUDIO
The cast of "Two Girls From Vermont" recently spent a twelve hour day in Brooklyn's Coyote Studios recording our favorite selections from the show. The CD is being used as an invite to producers for the upcoming backers audition, and for the sentimental ears of the cast.

THE KEY'S FALL 2002 PRODUCTION
The Key Theatre Board is currently searching for new works to produce for it's 2002 Fall Production. If you are interested in submitting your play, please e-mail us at keytheatre@hotmail.com.

PUBLIC TELEVISION SEGMENT ON THE KEY

Laurel Bower, IPT producer/director, and a small camera crew spent a week in NYC during the opening week Boston Proper filming tech week events, performance footage, the industry party, as well as day-to-day life activities of members of the company as they attempt to balance their "survival jobs", individual careers, and producing plays in the city.
