When God forgets man, man rushes to sin. It is our nature - our very curse. We do not rush to follow God, rather man rushes away from God. We know this is true because the Bible tells us so:
Genesis 6:5
The LORD saw how great man's wickedness on the earth had become, and that every inclination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil all the time.
Over the last 20 years (1990 - 2010) I have noticed an increasing trend among non-believers to embrace paganism. From Hollywood to the streets of NYC, people everywhere are touting pagan icons as text and symbols.
The above image is a snapshot from a website which espouses such ideology openly. No longer is there any slightest consideration to God. Instead people are accepting inanimate objects as their gods. In this case, the sun, the time of year (the solstice is the time when the sun reaches it's furthest point above our horizon), and symbols (tattoos abound).
My point in all of this is to sound an alarm - the end is near. I don't know when the end will come, it can come at any moment. In fact even Christ said only God the Father knows when that time is. So anyone suggesting a time is not telling you the truth. So it's "People get ready, there's a train a comin', don't need no ticket, you just praise the Lord." Amen and amen.
