In my search for another topic, I came across the following passage in the Old Testament. It is direct evidence that Christ is the Way. I say that since only Christ fits the description. And it is also about Salvation since a "righteous" man is one who follows the Lord and obeys God's commands. Love God and love your neighbor as you love yourself. This is the way, the truth and the life.

Psalm 15
A psalm of David.

1. LORD, who may dwell in your sanctuary?
        Who may live on your holy hill?
   

2. He whose walk is blameless
        and who does what is righteous,
        who speaks the truth from his heart
   

3. and has no slander on his tongue,
        who does his neighbor no wrong
        and casts no slur on his fellowman,
   

4. who despises a vile man
        but honors those who fear the LORD,
        who keeps his oath
        even when it hurts,
   

5. who lends his money without usury
        and does not accept a bribe against the innocent.
        He who does these things
        will never be shaken.
   

Isaiah 52:3
For this is what the LORD says:
     "You were sold for nothing,
     and without money you will be redeemed."

Psalm 23
A psalm of David.

1. The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not be in want.
   

2. He makes me lie down in green pastures,
        He leads me beside quiet waters,
   

3. He restores my soul.
        He guides me in paths of righteousness
        for His name's sake.
   

4. Even though I walk
        through the valley of the shadow of death,
        I will fear no evil,
        for You are with me;
        Your rod and Your staff,
        they comfort me.
   

5. You prepare a table before me
        in the presence of my enemies.
        You anoint my head with oil;
        my cup overflows.
   

6. Surely goodness and love will follow me
        all the days of my life,
        and I will dwell in the house of the LORD
        forever.

How amazing it is - something that was so obtuse and impossible to see is now so clear and shouts the Lord's name... may you come to faith in Him as your Savior, in Jesus' name, amen.

"...for You are God my Savior,..." I wish that you could see. How clear it is to me - that the Savior is God, comes from God and is One with God - it is all Him - no earthly born man can be the Savior - . . . since He is 'God my Savior' . . . Do you see? ... May God open your eyes, may He pour His Holy Spirit into your heart so that you too may say, as we all do: "All I know is that I once was blind, but now I see." (John 9:25)
