Noah's Three Sons

Monday, 07/20/09, 4:00 PM EST USA

Here is an interesting aside - one I have considered only as a curiosity. First off there is no mention of Noah's three sons traveling into the three geographic locations of the East, Africa, and Europe. So none of this is either biblical, nor hard (scientific) evidence. It is mere speculation ... until I found the following website. (NOTE: the minister in charge of this website has other topics for which I have less than zero interest. I even emailed him today and mentioned that when I discovered them. (No reply yet, but it's too soon to expect one.)

The Hebrews and the East

The Website:
Chapter 1
Chapter 2
Chapter 3
Chapter 4

The Text:

The text I found is sold on Amazon.com. It is written by James Oda. Here is a link to that page: The Jewish heritage of Japan ... Here is a eview of the text: Review

NOTE: the above image is from the text.

Both have to do with a specific topic - the ancient world of Japan was founded by the Hebrews. This "evidence" is based on speculation of patterns among both the ancient Japanese and ancient Hebrew cultures. At first one thinks that this idea is ridiculous - Hebrew and Japan? One might as well connect the Mongolians with the Japanese! However, after viewing the evidence I must admit it is tempting to accept this as true. But, being a scientist at heart I cannot do so on principle. All I can ever say is, "yes, I think so."

But that isn't all. Being a Christian there is reason to accept such an idea. I accept that the Bible is indeed written by God (that means men only penned it) and so everything in His Word _is_ true. (See my page about the birds being created first.)

From here on in there is no objective reason for accepting anything I say as mere speculation. IOW, even a Christian should know that this may not have been God's design for our diverse set of cultures - from ancient Japan to the ancient Eskimos.

The title of the page was a hint - I feel that the multitude of cultures arose from none other than Noah's three sons. First let me say that this is my own idea ... (to be continued)

All glory to God!
