A bud the Gardner gave us,
A pure and lovely child.
He gave it to our keeping,
To cherish undefiled.

But just as it was opening,
To the glory of the day,
Down came the
Heavenly Gardner
And took our bud away.

How you must have loved me
To have sent this delicate miracle.
This dear baby has enriched our lives so.
She showed us all what life is about ~
Loving and
Being loved.
She will always be with me every time I see
A cluster of yellow butterflies,
A kitten chasing a moth in the moonlight,
Or a small flower emerging from the sidewalk.
Oh, yes, I still cry at times for my loss,
My loss of physical presence, her aura.
I feel as though I must run through the world calling,
"Where are you my love?
Come back to me."
And she will answer,
"Here mommy, I'm right here."
But you have taken her back to you, Lord,
And I am bereaved.
Jesus here is another baby for you to hold.
Keep her safe and warm,
This world
Can be so cold......
