A bud the Gardner gave us,
A pure and lovely child.
He gave it to our keeping,
To cherish undefiled.
But just as it was opening,
To the glory of the day,
Down came the
Heavenly Gardner
And took our bud away.

Jakob my angel, 
I love you Jakob very much, 
I always dream about you, 
I thought I heard an angel one time 
you were laughing and playing by my bedside all night. 
But when I woke up to see nothing was there. 
I saw a small glowing light I knew it was you 
so I got up to investigate and I wasn't scared
but the closer I got it just disappeared. 
So I love you dear Jakob, 
I'll see you someday. 
And when I get to Heaven 
we will play,play,play.

Children's voices fill the air,
Life and laughter ring,
across the hills of Heaven,
small, sweet voices sing.

Gone to be with Jesus,
each little girl and boy,
now run and play as never before,
In the land of eternal joy.

Never to know another tear,
or face another pain;
what was a senseless loss on earth,
has now become Heaven's gain.

While Heaven is much sweeter,
in your heart you'll not be alone;
God filled it with memories of laughter and love,
of that child who has now gone home.

You were a blessing to us all
you were a special child.
And we're so glad God sent you
to be with us awhile.

You filled our home with happiness
and made our life complete.
The time we had with you
was far too short, but oh so sweet.

Some things we don't find easy
to accept or understand.
Until we realize they're part of
our Creator's perfect plan.

Now it comforts us to know
you're with the angels up above.
While in our hearts we hold you close
Surrounded by our love.
