"Lessons in Love"
Sudden bursts of inspiration are great, aren't they?

A heart is a dangerous thing
With one, you are condemned to love,
Which is neither good nor bad.
Love demands responsibility,
Maturity, committment,
Caution, patience,
And without one of those,
Love is merely a bomb
Counting down to its own destruction
And pain.
When you have learned the requirements
To handle love
You must excercise them.
Caution is one of the most important
Most powerful
Most destructive aspects of love.
Be careful who you lease your heart out to
For a heart is very fragile,
And entrusted in the wrong hands
It will be broken-
Hearts breaking like fine china
Being dropped carelessly to the floor.
Instead, hide your heart in a golden cage
And unlock it for those deserving.
Don't be afraid to show your heart to all,
For everyone deserves kindness
Simply be wary who you give your heart to
And be careful not to unlock the cage too hastily
Or even more important
Too late.
