West Point is an impressive sight indeed.

First fortified during the Revolutionary War, it has served as both a fortress & as a engineering/military academy.

Washington, Arnold, Lincoln, Grant, Lee & Jackson are but a few of the legends whom have walked it's famous grounds.

Cold Spring

Fine food & lodgings are available in this picturesque riverfront village.

Cold Spring has become a very popular destination for sightseers from thoughout the Northeast, as well as for foreign tourists visiting NYC. Just an hour or so by train from Grand Central Station, the Village of Cold Spring is a natural for daytripping. And there's no need for a car, as everything is within walking distance.

It's also a mecca for antique hunters from the tri-state area.

A Road With A View

It's quite a view from the Storm King Highway. Looking south towards West Point, you can get an impression of this area's ancient geography. The highway's elevation is only a couple of hundred feet up Storm King's total height of over 1300 feet.
