1950's Trip To Europe Episodes

"Away We Go" (2-2-57) The first Lyn Duddy-Jerry Bresler musical Honeymooners, in which the Kramdens and Nortons win a trip to Europe when they coin a catchy slogan for Flakey Wakey cereal.

"Plastered In Paris" (2-9-57) The Kramdens & Nortons are jailed in Paris for black market entanglements

"Behind The Iron Curtain" (2-16-57) Ralph & Norton, in Germany, wander off from a picnic and cross into East Berlin, where they are arrested as international spies.

"When In Rome" (2-23-57) In Italy, Ralph becomes suspicious of an unknown rival who is introducing Alice to the wonders of Rome. The rival turns out to be a shoeshine boy, and Ralph, as usual, turns out to be a jealous dope.

"Curse Of The Kramdens" (3-2-57) In Ireland, the Kramdens & Nortons visit Ralph's ancestral castle. There is a curse on it now, which can only be broken by a Kramden spending the night within it's walls. Ralph agrees to break the curse, taking Norton along with him, unaware that a band of counterfeiters are determined to spook him out.

"Mad Dogs And Englishmen" (3-9-57) The Kramdens & Nortons appear on BBC-TV in England, performing a Flakey Wakey commercial written, directed and sabotaged by Ralph.

"Framed In Spain" (4-6-57) Blackmailers fake a hanky-panky photo of Ralph and for a change, Alice is jealous.

"I Remember Mau Au" (4-13-57) Ralph & Norton persuade their wives to go on an African safari before returning home from Europe. Both sides are having a miserable time, but each side thinks the other is having fun.
