I'm going on
a journey, I do not know where to
Once I'm there
I do not know what I'm supposed to do.
As my destination
draws closer, perhaps it will come clear
that it exist
for a reason and I've got nothing to fear,
But still I'm
feeling frightened and a little insecure,
I also feel
impatient and why I am not sure,
The one thing
I am certain of, the one thing that is true
I'll understand
my journey better, whenever it is through

For one thing,

Lord in Heaven now~
you knew that's
where I'd be.
I'm sorry that
you're feeling sad,
for I'm happy
now....
I've asked
the Lord to ease the hurt
and comfort
you somehow.
It's hard at
the beginning,
but I know
you'll make it through....
I hope it
helps to know
that I'll
be waiting for you.

We are connected,
my child and I,
By an invisible
cord, not seen by the eye.
It's not like
the cord, that connects us "till birth."
This cord
can't be seen, by any on earth.
This cord does
it's work, right from the start,
The invisible
cord, from my child to me.
The strength
of this cord, is hard to describe,
It can't be
destroyed, it can't be denied.
It's stronger
than any cord, man could create,
It withstands
the test, can hold any weight.
And though
you are gone, though you are not here with me,
The cord is
still there, but no one can see.
It pulls at
my heart ~ I am bruised ~ I am sore,
But this cord
is my lifeline, as never before.
I am thankful
that God connects us this way,
A parent and
child, death can't take it away.
