Johnny Lee Miller plays the character of Dade Murphy, alias Zero Cool and Crash Override.

In his younger years, Dade wrote a virus that crashed 1,507 computer systems. This ultimately put him under probation, which prohibited him from using a computer or touch tone telephone until the year of his 18th birthday.

Moved to New York City by his mom, Dade must befriend the local hackers and prove innocence in an Ellingson Mineral Corporation setup.

Angelina Jolie plays the character of Kate Libby, alias Acid Burn.

Daughter of a famous author of self-help books for women, the elite Kate has a sense of feminism about her that is unmistakable.

When Dade Murphy enters her school, her group of friends, and her life, Kate is automatically made a suspect of the Ellingson Mineral Corporation setup. Now, in order to clear their names, she will have to spend hours scrutinizing the DaVinci virus, and possibly recruiting the help of two local media icons.
