OUR PHILOSOPHY The Berean Bible Institute (hereafter called B.B.I.) is a ministry of The Hendrickson Avenue Bible Church. We believe that God, through His Word, gave the authority to carry out the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19–20) to the local churches. The Bible calls the local church “the pillar and ground of the truth” (1 Timothy 3:15), and therefore is the source for all discipleship training (Ephesians 4:11-12). There is no other pattern given in the Scriptures for the training of pastors, elders, deacons, missionaries, and saints outside of the local church. All other para-church organizations are out of God’s will. ACCREDITATION B.B.I. Does not intend to seek secular accreditation for its programs of study. We have decided not to submit our school to the standards of men who are not of like faith and practice.
