In competitive obedience, Mrs. Fowler is an owner/trainer of a Dog World Magazine Award winner, many Companion dog and Companion Dog Excellent titlists and a couple of dogs trained through Utility. Also several AKC Canine Good Citizens. Several of her clients have gone on after a foundation lesson or a class with Mrs. Fowler to obedience class and agility class wins and placements. Three have had "High in trial" wins in the USA and Canada. One Student has had a "High in Specialty" Win. Many students have gone on to gain Companion Dog, Companion Dog Excellent, Utility Dog and Utility Dog Excellent titles. One has gained an Obedience Trial Championship. One student has a Dog World Award.
In AKC hunting tests, she has many titles on her own retrievers. (Junior hunter, Senior hunter,and Master hunter). Many of her seminar and private lesson trainees (dog/human teams ...owners of Labradors, Golden Retrievers, Flatcoats, and Chesapeakes) have gone on to complete Working Retriever Titles and Working Retriever Excellent titles...as well as Junior, Senior and Master titles successfully. She has recently successfully completed a Master Hunter title on a rare breed, a Curly Coated Retriever owned by Ruth Rafacz and Cathy Lewandowski. There are only (3)Master Hunter titled curlies on record in the United States. Jet is the first MH Curly with an AKC CH
Mrs. Fowler offers private lessons, group classes, and seminars in obedience and hunting retrievers. She accepts just 6 client dogs at a time for boarding and training/camp at Grace Farms
Her specialty is training breeds bred for "fetching" downed game.....however almost any breed is accepted for "dog camp" and "cuddle care".
Mrs Fowler is the only trainer of any dog boarded at GRACE FARMS.
ONLY 6 client dogs will be "trainees and/or in "camp" at any one time on our premises.
Dogs will be accepted into Dog Camp for long term only (over 21 days stay or more)
Private Lessons Adult dog and owner $45.00 plus tax (nearby accommodaations available for
travelers) ....learning by observation
of her training her own client's dogs encourage after each lesson free of charge.
Private Lessons Puppy under 6 months $ 25.00 plus tax
$18.00 per day if your dog' accommodations are one of 6 runs, next to no more than five other
dogs in adjacent runs...( brand new
temperature controlled kennels) Middle of February-Middle of November)
$25.00 per day if your dog stays in a large run with no other dogs to interact with at all.
$25.00 per day if placed in "regular cuddle care" (UNDER 15 POUNDS) which is a separate
home atmosphere with
maximum of two other dogs.
$30.00 per day for "super cuddle care" with NO other dog contact (WE have a second cuddle
care facility now)

Private Puppy and Adult Lessons
We give private lessons in Retriever training, Agility, and Obedience January through
October. Several 6 week Group (any breed) Obedience courses are offered between March and October.

I have a new obedience class starting. Call or email for dates. There will be three sessions:
6-7pm and 7-8pm and 8-9pm to keep the size down and give everyone individual attention. The third class in the evening will be for dogs
that are beyond the beginner level but not truly ready for advanced. I require a private lesson before I will allow a dog to enter a
class to evaluate dog and hanlder goals and training issues. The group classes are just ten dollars each, paid in advance for 6 weeks (plus 7% tax)
Hunting private lessons are given during daylight hours M-S by appointment.
5 hour Seminars are arranged also by appointment. An all day seminar in retriever training at
Grace Farms is $100.00 per person with
one dog. $50.00 each additional dog per person.
An all day seminar off my property (as long as I can drive there ...) is $200.00/one dog/owner
$100.00 each additional owner's dog
(minimum 6 people) plus traveling expenses. (two motel stays and food) (15 cents a mile)
Lectures, hands on and demonstrations are my fortes...I use creative methods for the
individually difficult dog, traditional methods, and
the correct use of the electronic collar in training.... Birds and equipment can be supplied by me....and there will be a charge for each
shot and bird used...(market price)
