Below is what I think on some of the most controversial topics talked about today.

Abortion
This has become such a hotly debated topic, and I can understand why, but in my honest opinion, abortion is not wrong. If you were to come up on the street and ask me, I would tell you that I am 100% Pro- Choice. Why? I have a lot of reasons, but the biggest of them being, I have gone through this myself. I know what it's like to be the woman on the other side, facing the facts that she has two decisions... to keep the baby, or to abort. It's not a situation I would ever want to put anyone in. It was the *most* difficult decision of my life, and one that I had to make alone. Many Pro-Lifers never see it the way I had to, or millions of other women do. They see it as a woman killing an innocent baby. They don't think about the abusive relationships, disease, poverty, rape, or countless other factors that the women who chose to abort have faced. Which is really better? Ending a pregnancy before the baby even has a sense of feeling or anything, or bringing a baby into a relationship where it is guaranteed a life of being beaten, neglected, and possibly dead? A lot of people don't think about all these factors. They see it only as a woman killing her baby, which it's not. Maybe they should begin to think of it as saving a baby from a horrible life. Women who choose to have abortions aren't horrible people. They may think they are; I thought I was for a long time, but they're not. I finally had to sit down and think about it, and realize what I did was the best for me at the time. If I hadn't, I would've been a 16 year old mom with no future and an abusive boyfriend who didn't even care. Is that the kind of family you would want your baby having? I don't think so.

Homosexuality
I myself do not find there to be anything wrong with this at all. Why do so many people have issues with people who love a different way? Lesbians, Gays, and Bisexuals are the same as we all are. They eat, sleep, drink, breathe, walk, do everything we do, they just love the same sex as themselves as opposed to loving the opposite sex. What's wrong with that? It doesn't make them "weird" or "different", it makes them human. All humans are entitled to their own feelings, their own ways of life. This is how they choose to live their lives. Nobody should be against that, you shouldn't discriminate against that. People are afraid of being different, that's why so many teenagers that think they may be lesbians or gay are afraid to tell anyone. They literally fear it because they don't want to be different. But I don't think there's anything wrong with being different. Being different makes you unique, and makes you who you are. It makes us human.
