It was a cool
October morn
The day that
you were born
From the moment
I saw you
You were so
perfect I knew
Your being
in my life, brought me so much joy
I feel the
need just to share your story
A child who
never gave us a worry
You lived
your life in such a hurry
So many years
perfect attendance, you were always there
You’re now
in Heaven, but I still look around and ask where
So unlike
you, you made a bad choice one day
That took
you to Heaven, from me you’re far away
It’s been
five years since you’ve been gone
Every day
I feel empty and so alone
No one could
ever understand, the bond we shared
Or how strong
our love united us, how much we cared
A part of
me has gone with you
Some days
it hurts and I don’t know what to do
God made me
a promise, I’ll be with you again
I know when
it’s time you’ll be the first I’ll see when I enter in
But for now
I have you in my heart
And I know
we’ll never part
My loss, Heaven’s
