Origin of the characters

As darkness spreads across this land I alone set at the front lines of this war between heaven and hell and take no sides. My name Is Xaos lao, and I am the eyes, and ears to the darkside, protecting humanity from what lies in the shadows to wait for them when they are not looking. In time all shall learn of my exploits but for now I sit and wait for the first trumpet to sounded so I may take up arms and fight.
