Madam, I have been a prisoner of war for some time, and am in need of a small amount of money, with which I will ask you to please furnish me, as I am destitute of some things which I cannot procure without some money. Please let me know if you can furnish me with some clothing, as I am nearly destitute. If you cannot furnish me with some clothing will you please send me the address of some one who can?
