The new baby, whether it's a girl or a boy,
To the Mom and Dad, this baby will be such a joy.
Everyone is happy that this baby is a healthy child,
Because of this gift of a new life, everyone smiled.

Well, this new baby is a sweet little girl,
And she looks so cute dressed in pink and lace,
Oh, look at the sweetness in her little face,
And in her crib, she takes so little space.

This little girl sleeps in her little crib,
And when she eats, she wears a little bib.
It's a joy when you rock this little girl in your arms,
She's touched your heart with all her charms,
You want to make sure that this sweet baby comes to no harm.

You dress your little girl in pink, lace, and bows,
You continually count her ten little fingers and ten little toes,
She's a delight to watch as little by little she grows,
Her closet is full of dresses arranged in neat little rows.

In this little girl's room, are many dolls and teddy bears,
These dolls and bears are arranged on
Shelves and windowsills in pairs,
And on these shelves, there are so many books everywhere.
Reading books to this little girl is a must,
Her enjoyment of books and her day to day learning,
Will keep this child's brain continually churning.

The parents and grandparents look forward to the day
When this sweet little girl learns to walk,
She'll definitely have everyone's attention
When she says her first words and learns to talk.

Enjoy this new baby each and every day,
Loving her will encourage her in every way
To be the best person that she could be,
This will give her parents so much pride,
And this shining star is always by their side.
