| | EXODUS Well, the long awaited season finale (EXODUS) has passed and already I'm starting to go through Smallville Withdrawal. (Quite common during this time!) But anyone who reads TV Guide (The Long ISland edition, sorry) knows that show producer Alfred Gough got an early renewal on Smallville and the show will be around for atleast THREE more years. (THANK GOD!!!) | But, with that info, I got another piece of info I wasn't too thrilled about. Gough said that "although last season picked up three minutes from where the season finale left off, this one will pick up three MONTHS after the season finale!!! Noooooo!!!!!! Most likely viewers will see how Clark has been living for the past few months, Red, and alone, as well as how his absence has affected his parents, lana and...OMG! Lex, we all know, was left searching for Helen in the plane to his honeymoon, in a pitch black sky, nosediving towards the tumultous ocean below. So all is not wedded bliss with the Luthors, either. | Well, the only confort I have is that we all know Clark's good nature will take over (Where would Superman be without it??) and send him packing back to Smallville. But, the consequences of his actions are still dire: Lana will most likely shun Clark once again for betraying her (not just my guess, TV guide hinted at more waves in Clark and Lana's relationship) without the ship Clark will have no link to Krypton (well, that might be good...) and Martha will again be unable to conceive. Now that I think about it, I'm not so surprised Clark left... |
