Now available for special order... The New CamelBack CB-II!! .

Tradition With Innovation!!

Guitarists have suggested to me that they would like to see me build something a bit more traditional, and this is the result! I had received so many accolades on the design of the CamelBack Bass that I decided to turn the basic design into a guitar! The one you see pictured has a stunning bookmatched Cocobolo top with a chambered Cuban Mahogany midsection and a crotch cut Cuban Mahogany back from the same slab I used to make the bass. I hope you will agree that the result is pretty spectacular!

On this one, I teamed up with Pete Biltoft of Vintage Vibe Guitars for the custom wound pickups, DR Strings for the 10-46 Tite-Fit strings, and Hipshot Products Inc. for the locking open-back tuning machines, the hardtail bridge, the knobs, the string ferrule bar, the neck ferrules... basically all of the hardware. This guitar will be on display and available for you to play at Hipshot's booth at NAMM in January of '09 if you intend to be there! Pricing will range from $1500 on up depending on options. This one is priced at $2300 but will be on special at NAMM for $1750...

ANOTHER NEW OPTION... CUSTOM ATA CASES!

I have secured a source for high quality and very durable ATA cases to protect your guitar! One model can actually house two Mantis guitars in the one case making it truly convenient to travel with two guitars in one case so you can have one set up for LPish tones and the other for Strattish/Teleish tones and only one case is required for these lightweight guitars! This would be a $150 option for any guitar and well worth protecting your investment!
