Leagues of Hockey and Levels To Play

Hockey has many different levels that you can play at. When you are younger (ages 5-6) you play at the the tyke level. As you get older, you go through mites, squirts, pee wees, bantams, and hopefully your career moves on to the junior level and above. When you get above the junior level, there is semi pro's college, then eventually professional level, The National Hockey League (NHL).

When you go pro, you definately have to have alot of skill. Some players scored in excess of 100 goals in one juinor season before they went pro. The average player could score about 10 in a Junior season and still be a good player. That just shows how good you have to be to have this sport be your Profession. If you would like to surf my site you can read and learn about Professional hockey, Junior hockey, Youth hockey, OHL and AHL hockey, and Olympic hockey just to name a few.
