news234/ CH Harris heading to Anaheim in 2005? [11.08.04]mon.[10:09 PM]
This morning at 10:18 CH Harris said he is thinking about going to Anaheim next season and will indeed buy the Angels and take his current Astros team with him. This would leave the entire Anaheim Angels roster free agents. Then it would leave the Astros with no current players but the new owner will not hesitate to sign talent when he see's it. Believe me folks you will see it in this winter's 2004 Winter Draft. Although the Astros are #2 in the Draft and the Angels are #26. CH has said he won't be cheap and buy the Angels before the Draft.

We hear if CH Harris wants to buy the Angels he can with a solid 100% chance he'd get them. So potentially expect CH to enter back in the American League where he hasn't been since Spring Training 2003. After leaving the Mariners for the Mets then it was off to the Braves and then to the Astros.

Incase the whole world wants to know just why CH Harris would leave the Astros, the current rival to the Phillies in the National League, would want to enter the American League, the tougher league, with elite teams such as the Yankees, A's and the Red Sox. No word what CH was thinking in this perspective. He did however say he feels he's been with the Astros for too long... it's only been a year. All we know is that the Yankees and Red Sox will duke it out for the A.L. East and the A's and Angels will battle for the A.L. West. Of course the 2 teams that do not clinch the divison will indeed battle for the A.L. Wildcard depending if the teams are good enough, and believe this, they will be.
